Support hub for groups and clubs

In response to the current pandemic we have collated details of key links and opportunities for clubs and groups to access further support or funding.

We understand the current situation is challenging and we want to be able to help share resources which provide practical support, as well as reassurance.

Sport and physical activity guidance

Further to the government announcement on 22 February, there will be a gradual easing of restrictions.

There are four steps to easing out of restrictions and we'll keep this page up to date as and when we receive new information. Currently the four steps (and dates) are planned as below:

Creating a safe space

Club Matters have updated their website with a variety of resources to help clubs get through the next few weeks and months.

They have also produced a series of resources, case studies and toolkits to guide through what you may need to do during this time.

Staff and volunteer support

Club Matters Workshops

Club Matters workshops are short training sessions, funded by Sport England and will seek to develop your skills, improve your knowledge and ultimately help you develop your club. All workshops last for 2 hours. Club Matters workshops are offered online during Covid-19.
