About Nottingham Rockets Volleyball Club

We are looking to increase our outreach into the community and to offer more drop-in sessions to juniors, adults and to establish a sitting volleyball club in Nottingham. We believe that volleyball is for all, and currently have 70+ members from 12 yrs

We are looking to increase our outreach into the community and to offer more drop-in sessions to juniors, adults and to establish a sitting volleyball club in Nottingham.

We believe that volleyball is for all, and currently have 70+ members from 12 yrs upwards. We want to create opportunities for more Nottinghamshire residents to experience the fun and family atmosphere that Volleyball brings.

Our indoor season is usually from September to June and we cater for Juniors (12+) and juniors. The sessions range from beginners and advanced, social play, Regional team and through to National league.

We have a session that is right for you.

In season 2020/21 we are also looking to set up Sitting volleyball sessions too

The outdoor season depends on the weather but we try and organise regular grass sessions and take part in both beach (Sand) and grass tournaments.

Volunteer Support Officer

Sports club in need of some co-ordination and support between its volunteers.
We are looking to increase our outreach into the community and to offer more drop-in sessions to juniors, adults and to establish a sitting volleyball club in Nottingham

Activities Organiser

With the club having 20+ juniors (and parents) and our goal of increasing membership to also include a sitting volleyball section we need to organise more family friendly activities too.

That's where you would come in, with ideas and to help organise these events (daytime or evening) preferably one every 4 to 8 weeks. The events don't need to be sport related and could involve people outside of the immediate club.

Sitting Volleyball Coach

We are in the process of setting up a sitting / para volleyball club in Nottingham and need more volunteers.

We will pay for the coaching course and support ongoing personal development.

You don't need to have played volleyball before to be a sitting volleyball coach
