First Aid Essentials, produced with West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, aims to give the confidence needed to react in an incident when someone urgently needs help. Although this isn't sport specific it should give you basic First Aid provision.

Connect Mental Health are offering Mental Health First Aid Courses at a heavily discounted rate (due to extended funding) that are accredited through MHFA England. Courses are available both online and face to face (when restrictions allow) and range from £35pp for the MH Aware course to £85pp for the full MHFAider Adults course.

Sexual Abuse in Sport Webinar

The NWG Network Safeguarding in Sport team are hosting a webinar looking at how sexual abuse occurs in sport. We will be focusing on perpetrator behavior, exploring their motivations to abuse children and the tactics they use to commit these crimes against children. We will also explore the role of ‘bystanders’ and ‘enablers’ and discuss what more can be done to improve the culture within these settings to ensure children are better safeguarded from abuse.
