Understanding Young People in the workforce

We know young people have always played a vital part in enabling the delivery of so many of the weekly sessions and sporting events that happen in our communities. Young people have been affected by the pandemic in so many ways.

They have not been able to:

- take part in the sports and physical activities they love

- gain the skills and experiences volunteering provides

- gain leadership and coaching qualifications (that might help them gain paid employment in the future).

- act as a positive role model to younger children

To try and ensure the pandemic does not have a lasting negative impact on our young people and the future of the sport and physical activity, we want to identify if there is a need for Active Notts and Active Derbyshire to further support, enable and enhance the delivery of a range of training courses for young people.

We would really appreciate it if you could spend a few minutes completing this survey to help us determine if this is something that would help your work with young people, and which qualifications and awards would be beneficial to young people that may want to work within the sport and physical activity sector.
