About Trustee - Derbyshire Cricket Foundation
It is an exciting time to join the Board. We have a network of more than 100 cricket clubs across Derbyshire, participation among women, girls, and young children is growing, and we have recently appointed our first dedicated Disability Development Officer. There is still much more to do though. We believe that cricket is a game for everyone, and we are ambitious to grow participation and increase our impact in communities across the County. Our board of trustees play a key role in providing the strategic oversight and governance to support our committed team in prioritising available resources and delivering the strategy of the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
What skills and experience are we seeking?
We are looking for individuals who have skills and experience that can help provide effective governance and support the strategic development of the DCF. Particular skills and experience we are keen to add to the board during this recruitment process are:
• Safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults
• Experience of securing funding to support community initiatives
