About Leisure Apprenticeship - Sport & Play
The Sport and Play Team run various different sports and physical activity programmes for children, young people and adults. You will work within the Sport and Play Team within the Schools Coaching Programme, SPLAT Holiday Scheme, Happenin sessions, NRG Disability sessions, Walking Football and Walking sessions and events. As part of our apprentice scheme you will support the team with marketing, social media and session planning and monitoring and have the exciting opportunity to work in the various Corby Leisure sports and community facilities.
We are looking for an apprentice to join us who is committed, motivated and most important willing to learn! This amazing opportunity will develop the post holder over the 3 years and provide them with a broad range of highly competitive skills and experience to take into the next step of their career.
This post is a 3 year post and during this time, you will be offered a variety of development qualifications and workshops in sports, coaching and physical activity, personal development courses and academic learning NVQ's in your chosen subject under the Government apprentice scheme.
The hours of the post will vary, with early mornings and evenings a requirement of the post holder, however the post holder will be able to use the Council flexitime scheme.
