About Strength & Conditioning Coach
In 2021/22 we finished in the Top 10 of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championships for the first time and we continue to aspire to improve our performances.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering as part of a student-athlete focused service, to both team and individual sports predominately during university terms and pre-season periods. Working very closely with the physiotherapy team, you will, alongside other tasks delivery athlete screenings, 1/1, small group and squad training sessions, be part of the delivery of an educational programme and co-ordinate with a variety of external partners including National Governing Bodies and professional clubs. Match day support may also be delivered to selected teams. You will also have a strong understanding of the broad range of support services and elements required to provide an effective high performance athlete environment.
The successful candidate will be conscientious with good communication, influencing and team working skills. In addition, you will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work with availability to work evenings and weekends where necessary.
