Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner's Community Safety Fund 2019-20 - deadline January 14
Posted: Tue, 04 Dec 2018 16:20
The Community Safety Fund provides grants to third sector community based organisations to enable local delivery against the Nottinghamshire Police & Crime Plan. The Plan has a number of strategic themes and key activities and the Commissioner has identified areas where third sector organisations are well placed to help deliver the Plan. Applications for funding to deliver activity in these areas will score more highly in the evaluation of the grant applications.
- Protecting People from Harm - tackling key issues such as modern slavery, street drinking and homlessness, missing persons and substance misuse.
- Helping and Supporting Victims - providing greater care for victims of domestic violence and sexual violence, encouraging victims to report crime, providing a robust response to hate crime and promoting improved multi-agency information sharing.
- Tackling Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour - working to reduce burglary, violent crime and organised crime, promoting community cohesion, preventing reoffending, improving the response to knife crime, tackling road safety and increased public feelings of safety.
- Transforming Services and Delivering Quality Policing - increasing confidence and satisfaction in the police, delivering value for money, achieving a diverse workforce which reflects the community, actively pursuing opportunities for inter-force and fire service collaboration.
Applications are invited for up to a maximum of £25,000. Organisations may apply for one project only. Successful projects should deliver during some or all of the period 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 only.
