Funding to Help Rebuild Communities

The Wakeham Trust provides grants to registered charities for small projects that will normally be run by volunteers. They are particularly interested in educational projects, although this does not have to be limited to the young.

The Wakeham Trust is privately funded and doesn't appeal for funds, so is able to take risks and support unpopular causes in ways that big charities find hard to do. They normally give grants to projects where a small initial amount of £125 to £2,500 can make a real difference.

The Trsut prefers to fund new, outward looking projects that have the potential to become self supporting.
