Notts school’s good practice features in national education journal Physical Education Matters

Work by Notts school Whitemoor Academy has featured in national education journal Physical Education Matters as an example of good practice.

A case study about the school showcased how it had used the primary PE and Sport Premium in 2018-19 to improve PE, sport and physical activity for children in schools.

Active Notts and the Notts School Games Organiser Network worked together to gather good examples from across the county, and these were published in a booklet which was distributed to schools earlier this year.

The booklet caught the eye of the Association for Physical Education (afPE), which publishes Physical Education Matters, and the case study from Whitemoor Academy was among those selected to be showcased on a national level.

Further case studies from Notts schools are also due to be published in the next issue.
