Application deadline: 9am on Monday 23 September 2019
A new grants programme has been launched by Nottingham City Council, to help the voluntary and community sector develop/sustain new ideas that discourage involvement in youth violence and encourage local grass roots organisations to find solutions that have a positive impact on their communities.
Applications should include one or more of the following areas of work and must work to discourage involvement in youth violence:
- New partnership work - new collaborative partnerships between VCS organisations being developed
- Whole family working - adopting a whole family approach to support young people
- Working with young adults (18-25)
- Organisational development - including adopting client management systems, outcomes measurement systems, supervision systems and business planning
In addition to the above, the grants programme is also interested in receiving applications that offer activities to new and emerging communities as well as those which support refugees and asylum seekers.
For eligibility criteria and details of how to apply, download the guidance notes.
There is a single deadline for this funding with no further rounds planned. If you are applying as a single organisation the maximum amount you can apply for is £7,500. If you are applying as part of a partnership application you can apply for up to £20,000 for the whole partnership.
