Sport England Small Grants – New Video Tutorial

Edwina Archer, Funding Lead has recorded a series of funding tutorials. These tutorials consider the key points for a variety of the major funding programmes which are suitable for sport and physical activities. They also give hints and tips on how to complete the application forms to help increase your chances of success. One of the tutorials features Sport England's Small Grants fund.

Sport England's Small Grants fund provides awards from £300 to £10,000 (more by exception), for up to 3 years of new or additional activity. It will fund revenue expenditure, and there are no deadlines for applications. They will consider sport or physical activity projects for adults and children and young people from 5 years of age.

The fund's priorities are:

  • Getting inactive people to become more active
  • Developing lasting sporting habits
  • Develop more positive attitudes among young people
