Support for voluntary and community organisations in former coalfield communities affected by Coronavirus

Emergency grants of up to £10,000 are available to voluntary and community organisations in former coalfield communities which are affected by the coronavirus.

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust have temporarily replaced their existing investment programme with the Coalfields Covid-19 Recovery and Resilience Fund to support organisations that are delivering support services or have significantly adapted their services in order to respond to the current crisis.

Funding can be used to help with 100% core costs to provide activities that help vulnerable people self-isolating or those experiencing poor mental health, co-ordinate community response, help food banks, and give advice, guidance and support to people in crisis etc.

The next deadline for submitting the eligibility survey for the October 2020 Committee is 5pm on the 28th August 2020. The deadline for submitting applications will be 5pm on the 11th September 2020.
