Have you got your copy of the Active at Home Guide?

Booklets to encourage people to be active at home have been distributed to vaccination hubs in Nottinghamshire recently.
The Active at Home Guides, which were initially produced to help people shielding during lockdown by Move More Sheffield, have been designed to support those who have been shielding or unable to be active.
Insight has shown that activity levels have decreased during the most recent lockdown and this creates further inequalities in health for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
The Guide contains simple activities that can be done at home, in limited space and with no equipment, along with tips to improve mental health.
Kerryn Chamberlain, Director at Active Notts, who printed and distributed the guides said;
"The pandemic has had a huge impact on activity levels and we know that being active can help us in so many ways. For people shielding or unable to be active, we hope the guide will provide some guidance and reassurance to support them to be active in the best way for them."
If you've recently been vaccinated and received a copy or if you're working or volunteering at one of the hubs, we'd love to know what you think of the Guide and what other support people might need to get active so contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
