Portland Swimming Club is looking enthusiastic helpers/teachers/coaches to help out on poolside and lead lanes. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about swimming and looking to get more involved with the sport. Performance swimming background is desired although not necessary as the club is willing to pay for courses of those individuals who show commitment to the club.
What do we require?
We are seeking individuals who share our vision of providing high-quality physical activity experiences for all young people, who can assist our core team in the delivery of a variety of sport and physical activity events and activities. Available tasks include:
- Event organisation
- Refereeing & officiating
- Coaching & team management
- Additional roles and experiences as agreed
Best Foot Forward is accredited by Walking for Health. We are looking for friendly volunteers, keen to promote the benefits of walking, who can lead and support our short walks programme. Walks are between 45 - 90 minutes . We offer 8 walks/week and 1 longer monthly walk. If you would like to support a regular weekly walk or just volunteer once/month and on relief please get in touch.
The Erewash Boccia and new Age Kurling group are looking for someone to help run their sessions. The volunteer will work alongside an experienced leader to help run the games.
England Touch is growing rapidly with an extensive series of domestic club and regional tournaments as well as hosting both the Youth Touch World Cup and European Touch Championships in 2021.
The Content Manager will play a key role in helping England Touch maximise these opportunities to grow the sport, creating a range of multimedia content for social media and digital channels, utilising the extensive library of photos and videos from the last few years and exploring opportunities for new and original ideas.
The role will be based at home, with tournaments held throughout the country.

With the club having 20+ juniors (and parents) and our goal of increasing membership to also include a sitting volleyball section we need to organise more family friendly activities too.
That's where you would come in, with ideas and to help organise these events (daytime or evening) preferably one every 4 to 8 weeks. The events don't need to be sport related and could involve people outside of the immediate club.

DOSportUK has an opportunity for a new basketball assistant coach working with the Derby Warriors learning disability basketball group.
The group has been established recently and we are looking to add to our current team of volunteers. We have a session every Monday 6.00pm-7.00pm at West Park School.
Ellistown FC Volunteers Required
Work with Ellistown FC Committee to manage the Ground and ensure it's fit for purpose for Ellistown FC, Anstey Town and FFA Ellistown
Role - To identify and coordinate different funding streams in order to support the development of the club
Role - Managing a junior representative side within the club.
This may be either one or both of the following - mid week matches 6 - 8pm
Kwik Cricket matches Sundays 10 - 12 noon.
The role would be ideal for a partnership of 2 volunteers.
The role will require a DBS check, which can be arranged through the club.
Useful Skills - Good communicator, reliable and responsible, lead by example, friendly and approachable.
We need help with pad work and general gym activity, we are looking for someone who enthusiastic about fitness and health and wellbeing
WALX Leicester East is a friendly, sociable walking and fitness group delivering walks and activities at various venues across Leicester and East Leicestershire. We are seeking outgoing individuals to lead walks on an ongoing basis so that we can continue to expand the number of activities we offer.
